Meet Mrs. Salvatore Pre4S
Welcome to Prek4S! My name is Andrea Salvatore.
I have been teaching here at
St. Pat's since January 2004.
I started my teaching career working with 7th and 8th graders.
Then, I took a big jump down to the cute little kids in Kindergarten.
I did a little jump up to first grade and taught there for ten years.
I took another little jump but this time it is down to Prek4. This is my 4 year teaching PreK4. I am so excited for the adventure that I will be taking this year.
I grew up in the Overbrook section of Philadelphia. I went to St. Callistus from kindergarten through eighth grade and graduated high school from Archbishop Carroll.
I received my bachelors of science from Penn State
University. I graduated in 2003 and majored in early and elementary education.
I lived in South Philadelphia with my husband Anthony and our 10 year old daughter Antonia until we recently sold our house a bought a new one near school. I can't believe I have a junior high student. This is the 7th year that I get to have my daughter at school with me. Aside from teaching, I enjoy hanging with my family and friends, making fancy cakes and cupcakes, scrap-booking, crafting, dancing, shopping and going to the shore. Toni and I danced to together in a flash mob proposal on the Wildwood boardwalk and in one of her dance recitals. Now we dance together in the Philadelphia Mummers Parade. I love being able to do something I love with my daughter.
My travels to St. Pat's has been a journey for the past 14 and half years, but the parents, faculty and students made it all worth it. I am so happy to finally be in St. Patrick's Parish. I am very excited about the upcoming school year and all the fun and learning we are going to do.
