Reminders and Important Information
PreK friends that are in Morning CARES will walk to one of the PreK rooms with a Prek teacher there. PreK car line will start at 7:45. If you arrive after 8:00 am and we are already downstairs, please park your car in the church lot. Walk your child down to the office, sign them in, and Mrs. Bogan or Mrs. Patrick will escort them to their classroom. This is for the safety of your child.
Please remember to dress your child appropriately for the weather. The children will be taken out daily if the weather permits.
If there is a change in your child's dismissal, please send an email or written note to the teacher by 2:00. If there is a change in dismissal after 2:00, please call the Lower School Office (610) 644-3620 and Mrs. Bogan will let your child's teacher know of the change. In January when after school clubs are held for PreK4 only, please notify the teachers by email or a note to make them aware of the change in dismissal. Without this notification, your child will not be able to attend the club.

Cold Weather Reminders
Please send your child to school with a warm coat, hat, and gloves. The children do go out for recess even if it is for a short time. The children are not permitted to play in the snow so there is no need for snow boots. Please put your child's name or initials inside their belongings in case they get lost. Prek4 children should practice putting on their own coats and zipping them. Prek3 children should practice putting their own coats on. Please send in a "cold weather" change of clothes in case clothes get dirty and we will send the change of clothes we have back home.
When it is cold outside we will keep the side door to the church closed during car line so the church does not get cold. We usually can tell when a car pulls up and we will come out to get your child. If we do not open the door please lightly honk your car horn and we will come out. There is no need to get out of your car.
To make the process of car line move quickly, especially on frigid days, please have your child ready to get out of the car (coat on, school bag ready) when you pull up. If your child is not ready please pull into a parking space and have him/her get ready before pulling up.
If you are dropping off older students and they are lined up inside, we ask that you drive them across to the other school for drop off. The students have to cross the street then the school driveway which can be dangerous with the cars pulling in from Channing Ave.

As cold and flu seasons are upon us it is important to teach and remind children of simple hygiene guidelines.
- Please remind your child to keep his/her hands away from and out of his/her nose and mouth. This increases the spread of germs.
- Have your child practice coughing and sneezing into his/her elbow. This helps to eliminate the spread of germs.
- Tissues are available for the students to use at any time during the day. Encourage your child to use a tissue to blow and wipe his/her nose.
- Remind and practice with your child using soap and washing the front and back of his/her hands for 20 seconds.
We do wipe the tables and chairs with Clorox/Lysol wipes daily but we cannot wipe everything the children touch everyday. If you are unsure if your child is feeling well enough to come to school it is probably best to keep him/her home. By following these guidelines, you will not only protect the health of your child, but the health of his/her classmates as well as the school staff.
As a reminder, it is the law that a car can NOT turn in front of a bus when the lights are blinking. For the safety of your child, as well as all students at St. Pat's, we ask that you respect this law. Thank you.
A few things we forgot to mention:
- If you child is absent from school, please email your child's teacher or call the office to inform us about the absence. Thank you!
Please remember to send in your paperwork that was given to you at Orientation by September 8th. If you have misplaced anything please do not hesitate to ask for a new copy. Thanks!
Students in PreK will wear the St. Pat's gym uniform and sneakers everyday.
Summer uniform: navy blue gym shorts with St. Pat's logo, grey gym shirt
Winter uniform: navy blue sweat pants with Warrior down the side, grey gym shirt, the navy blue St. Pat's sweatshirt.
The St. Pat's uniform can be purchased at Flynn and O'Hara.
We are very excited about this change since the students will be able to show their pride by wearing the uniform. Go Warriors!
